| "The Church has always considered catechesis one of her primary tasks, for, before Christ ascended to His Father after His resurrection, He gave the apostles a final command - to make disciples of all nations and to teach them to observe all that He had commanded... At the heart of catechesis we find, in essence, a Person, the Person of Jesus of Nazareth, "the only Son from the Father...full of grace and truth," who suffered and died for us and who now, after rising, is living with us forever. It is Jesus who is "the way, and the truth, and the life," and Christian living consists in following Christ."

Children’s Liturgy
Is held during the Liturgy of the Word at the 11:00 AM Mass and offers children ages 4yrs old to 5th grade activities and reflections based on the Sunday Gospel. Note: This does not replace your child's regular Elementary Faith Formation classes.
We minister to children of various ages in a way that they can understand the Gospel message. We present a craft project with the message for them to have a hands on, visual and concrete image of the message which they can take home to reflect on and evangelize others. We always begin with the "Come Holy Spirit Prayer" before hearing the Sunday Gospel message. This is to help open and cultivate readiness of heart to hear the Lord's word. We like to plan stewardship projects through out the year for the Liturgical Seasons and we usually end the year session with an Ice Cream Social. The Children's Liturgy brings the Kingdom of God to children ages PK 4 - 5th grade and helps each child grow into a loving personal relationship with Jesus.
